But, every tale has its twist.
One day, Sue and Ernesto stumbled upon unfamiliar code. They had never seen it before, but it was, excuse the expression, damn well-written. Ernesto gasped, and Sue looked up to see what had caught his attention.

A Parrot?
“Hello, I’m Poppy!” she chimed in. “Nice code you’ve got there.”

Sue and Ernesto exchanged glances, curious about this unexpected encounter. Poppy seemed to have a talent for elegance in her coding, something that both Sue’s precision and Ernesto’s versatility found fascinating.

Ernesto: “Well, hello there, Poppy! I’m Ernesto, and this is Sue. We were just… uh, admiring your code. It seems like you’re really good at recurring billing?”
Sue: “Yes, your code is quite impressive,” said Sue, somewhat grumpy over Ernesto’s silly flattery.
Poppy: “Oh, thank you! I’m a master at recurring invoicing. I keep track of what users need to invoice, when they should be invoicing next, and can do some heavy calculation.”
Ernesto perked up. “Well, then maybe we could try diving into each other’s code, because then you could handle recurring invoicing for all my users simultaneously? Like, 127 companies in a snap?”

And so, the tale of Sue, Ernesto, and Poppy began, marking the start of a new adventure in the world of apps. Little did they know that their trio would soon become legendary.

Ready for Wave 2 2024

All apps from SmartApps are officially validated for Dynamics 365 Business Central Wave 2 2024, also called Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central 25.

To be able to list your app on AppSource you need to undergo the Microsoft validation process to ensure that the app is secure and meets standard of Dynamics 365 Business Central. We are happy to announce that all apps from SmartApps have passed the validation for Wave 1 2024 and are ready to be downloaded to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central 25.

If you already have an app from SmartApps in your Dynamics 365 Business Central you will automatically get the latest version when your Dynamics 365 Business Central get upgraded to Microsoft Dynamic 365 Business Central 25.

New prices for apps

After several successful collaborations, Sue and Ernesto decided to go on a real “digital date”.

Ernesto took Sue on a virtual road trip through the most exciting features, such as “Calculate Depreciation” in like 127 company simultaneously. Sue was impressed by Ernesto’s versatilityand how he could handle so many tasks at once.

Sue: “I didn’t know that tax transactions could be fetched for all companies at once and be so thrilling!”
Ernesto: “And I didn’t know that external systems could be so charming.”

Sue showed Ernesto how to sync all records while they were visiting all his companies. She could also easily make extra fields on customer cards mandatory so no user missed important information. Ernesto was impressed by Sue’s precision and how she could turn even the most complicated tasks into a breeze. Their digital date became an incredible experience of exploring each other’s unique traits and how they could complement each other perfectly.

Sue: “Oops, sorry! I must have pressed the wrong button.”
Ernesto: “No problem, it was a pleasant surprise! I’m Ernesto, the coolest multi-company app in the world. Who are you?”
Sue: “I’m Sue, the queen of organization apps. Nice to meet you, Ernesto!”

Their first interaction was brief, but the spark had ignited. Users soon noticed how Ernesto and Sue complemented each other.
Ernesto could only export files to Sharepoint, while Sue knew exactly how to use FTP or other communication methods.

Sue and Ernesto began to spend more and more time in each other’s code, leading to more and more experiences for users who now began to understand what these apps could do together. Ernesto struggled to receive data and make sense of it, but with Sue’s help, integrations were no longer a problem.

Eagle is a versatile app designed by SmartApps to streamline administrative tasks for companies using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. It´s particularly beneficial for organizations that manage multiple companies, such as accouting firms or shared service centers.
