Exciting Updates to Parrot and Contract Management
In a series of recent updates, Parrot has introduced several new features aimed at enhancing contract management and consumption tracking. One of the key updates is the dependency on version 23.0 of Business Central, which ensures compatibility and improved performance.
Additionally, Parrot has enhanced the management of consumption lines on contracts. This new feature includes the introduction of a new type of subline on contract lines to specify consumption. Users can activate this setup on the reorganized Contract Setup page, which now features a FastTab named “Subline” for this purpose.
Another significant update is the support for adding attachments to contracts. This feature makes it easier to archive signed agreements and other important documents directly within the contract.
Moreover, a new feature allows the creation of a credit memo if the total amount, including VAT, for the invoiced period is negative. This can be enabled on the Contract Setup page, under the Settings FastTab.
Lastly, an API page for Posted Consumption Lines has been introduced, providing more detailed information and accessibility for developers.
These updates are designed to streamline processes and improve the overall user experience in managing contracts and consumption lines.
