In a significant update, new settings have been added to the Workflow Automations page, allowing users to automate the steps involved. Each step can now be configured to be processed either manually or automatically, which is particularly useful when certain steps do not require manual oversight and all conditions for progressing have been met.

Users can also configure how each step is initiated and processed. This can be done by either automatically moving to the next step without selecting “Start next step” or by having the step processed automatically without the need to select “Process step”.

Additionally, new templates have been added to the User-defined KPIs if the StoryPoint app is installed. These templates include “My Expenses” with statuses such as “In Process”, “Open” or “Submitted”, and “Rejected”

In Function Setup, the option to enqueue report 952, called Suggest Project Jnl. Lines, has been added. This report simplifies tasks such as invoicing time for projects

Furthermore, Workflow Automations now supports the use of Page or Codeunit as function types on the Workflow Automations page, whereas previously only Report was supported.

Permissions have also been improved with automatic permission management to prevent users from receiving errors unrelated to Eagle.

The Job Queue functionality has been enhanced to improve the update process for reports dependent on refreshed data in job queues for Client Companies.

Lastly, in My Company, functionality has been added to correct the Client Company code to the correct value if it is incorrect or blank.

In this release, we are excited to introduce a major new feature: Workflow Automations. This innovative tool allows users to create their own workflows for various operational tasks. Users can define each step in the workflow, which can be either a function or a manual task. To ensure greater control and precision, users can also configure selection filters and condition filters for each step based on key performance indicators (KPIs). These workflows are versatile and can be used by companies for a wide range of purposes, from daily activities to financial statements.

Additionally, new KPI templates have been added for the SweBase payment suggestion, featuring predefined filters that can be selected in the guides for setting up KPIs. Furthermore, user-defined KPIs have seen improvements with fixed filters on numeric fields, including decimal, integer, and big integer. Previously, these filters were dependent on the user’s regional settings for handling the thousands delimiter.

It is important to note that if you have filters on number fields in your user-defined KPIs, you may need to update the filters to ensure that the correct values are displayed. This update is particularly relevant for users with different regional settings.

In the latest release for Qpick Connect support for Business Central 2024 Wave 2 has been added, bringing several new features and improvements.

A new setting called Invt. Put-away Bin Code has been introduced to the Location. When a value is entered in this field, created Int. Put-aways will have the bin code set to this value. Additionally, a new setting called Date Formula Pick. Lines has been added to the Location. When a value is entered in this field, Sales Lines will be automatically filtered on Shipment Date.

The action Send to Qpick has been added to more pages, enhancing workflow capabilities. The message that appears when using Packaging Management on an unsupported document type has been updated for clearer communication.

Performance has been improved when running the report Calculate FIFO Dates, and an issue where the FIFO-date was not updated as expected has been fixed.

A recent update has added support for Business Central 2024 Wave 2. This update includes a new default setting for the Create field on the Contract Setup page, which will now apply when new contracts are created. Additionally, amounts and unit prices will now be formatted using the selected currency code.

Furthermore, there is now a dependency on version 25.0 of Business Central. Users can also specify the maximum amount allowed for the expense code in the current calendar year for each expense user. If the total amount exceeds this value, the expense will not be possible to submit.

The latest release of Smart Swedish VAT contain several updates that aim to simplify processes and improve the overall user experience.

One of the key updates is the added dependency on version 24.0 of Business Central. This ensures compatibility and leverages the latest features and improvements.

Additionally, support has been added for selecting Bank Account as the account type on the Transfer Rules page. This update simplifies the process for users who use a bank account as the account type for tax purposes.

The order of entries in the Transfer to Journal function has also been changed. Entries are now listed by ascending date, with the highest document number assigned to the most recent entry. This change ensures a proper chronological flow.

Furthermore, the order of the lines in the VAT Statement has been updated. When Update Template Lines are used or when a new VAT Statement is created, the entries are now sorted according to the boxes on the VAT declaration. If the VAT Statement has been manually adjusted, it will be automatically adapted to the VAT Return generated for upload to the Swedish Tax Agency, ensuring compliance with specific requirements.

These updates are expected to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes for users.

In the recent update of Qpick Connect, several new features have been introduced to enhance functionality. These updates aim to improve inventory management, barcode handling, and overall efficiency.

The latest update includes support for managing the physical inventory record, allowing users to preview and generate reports with ease. A new setting called Duplicate Check Barcode has been added to the Qpick Connect Setup page. When activated, this feature will display an error message if the same barcode is registered more than once in the Item Reference table.

Support for put-away has been added when a purchase order is posted. Previously, an error occurred if users tried to send a put-away to Qpick after the purchase order was posted. The update also includes support for Serial No. and Lot No. to Alias Lines, enhancing the tracking and management of inventory items. Finally, support for expiration dates has been implemented, allowing for better management of perishable items.

These updates are expected to streamline operations and improve the overall user experience with Qpick Connect.

In this release exciting new features have been added to the Badger Setup page, enhancing the user experience in Business Central. Users can now generate a URL for attachments on API pages, making it easier to manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, sales headers, and purchase headers.

Another innovative feature allows for the automatic download of the main attachment for incoming documents when the page in Business Central is accessed via the attachment URL. This streamlines the process and saves valuable time.

Additionally, the Group and Sorting fields have been introduced to the Badger Account Group Lines, providing more flexibility and organization.

Users can now specify start and end dates for Badger date entries, adding a new level of control and precision.

Last but not least, we changed the application dependency to 23.0 which makes it possible to use the latest functionality for installations running Business Central 2023 Wave 2.
