Spider has recently introduced several updates aimed at enhancing integration and permissions management. One of the key updates is the introduction of a new integration type called Import General Journal, which allows users to fill a general journal without posting. Additionally, an issue where running an integration step by step would prevent the archive step from executing has been fixed.
A new feature called InherentPermissions has been added to prevent permission issues for users and EntraID applications not directly using Spider. Furthermore, the Spider role center has been changed to be unselectable in the role center list and is now set as “Navigation menu only”.
Several issues related to the Sync to Company feature have also been addressed. These include fixing an error where ClientId and ClientSecret were not filled in via the Sync to Company guide, and resolving an issue with direct sync that only worked via log. Additionally, a problem with the combination of deferral code and current date causing an error has been fixed.
Lastly, an issue with the page API – Sales Inv. Lines, where fields were validated in the wrong order, has been corrected. These updates aim to improve the overall functionality and user experience in managing integrations and permissions within Spider.
