In a significant update, new settings have been added to the Workflow Automations page, allowing users to automate the steps involved. Each step can now be configured to be processed either manually or automatically, which is particularly useful when certain steps do not require manual oversight and all conditions for progressing have been met.
Users can also configure how each step is initiated and processed. This can be done by either automatically moving to the next step without selecting “Start next step” or by having the step processed automatically without the need to select “Process step”.
Additionally, new templates have been added to the User-defined KPIs if the StoryPoint app is installed. These templates include “My Expenses” with statuses such as “In Process”, “Open” or “Submitted”, and “Rejected”
In Function Setup, the option to enqueue report 952, called Suggest Project Jnl. Lines, has been added. This report simplifies tasks such as invoicing time for projects
Furthermore, Workflow Automations now supports the use of Page or Codeunit as function types on the Workflow Automations page, whereas previously only Report was supported.
Permissions have also been improved with automatic permission management to prevent users from receiving errors unrelated to Eagle.
The Job Queue functionality has been enhanced to improve the update process for reports dependent on refreshed data in job queues for Client Companies.
Lastly, in My Company, functionality has been added to correct the Client Company code to the correct value if it is incorrect or blank.
