The recent updates to the Badger functionality in Business Central encompass several enhancements. These include adding the Generate Attachment URL field on the Badger Setup page, enabling users to incorporate URLs to attachments on API pages for Customer Ledger Entries, Vendor Ledger Entries, General Ledger Entries, Sales Header, and Purchase Header.
Additionally, the Download Main Attachment field has been introduced on the Badger Setup page, facilitating automatic downloading of the main attachment for incoming documents when opening pages in Business Central via the Attachments URL.
Moreover, Group and Sorting fields have been implemented on the Badger Account Group Lines.
Another notable addition is the Use Custom Period for Badger Date Entries field on the Badger Setup page, which empowers users to specify start and end dates for Badger date entries, albeit requiring manual maintenance.
Furthermore, the link in step 2 on the Badger Setup Page has been updated to refer to the Sales & Finance Power BI app on AppSource.
Lastly, the application dependency has been adjusted to 23.0, enabling installations running Business Central 2023 Wave 2 to leverage the latest functionality.
