Exciting updates are rolling out in the world of workflow automations! The latest improvements are set to revolutionize the way you manage your tasks. New templates have been introduced, including those for closing income statements, exporting incoming documents and attachments, and SIE files. These additions are designed to streamline your processes and save you valuable time.

One of the standout features is the new “Start” action on the Function Setup page. This allows you to start reports and pages without opening a new tab in your browser, making it incredibly useful for testing functions within your current company. No more juggling multiple tabs – everything you need is right at your fingertips.

The Expression Term card now boasts a FactBox pane, displaying the KPIs and expressions that use the current expression term. This makes it a breeze to find and disable the relevant KPIs and expressions, ensuring your workflow remains smooth and efficient.

In a bid to simplify time management, a new report titled “Approve Time Sheets” with ID 70337389 has been introduced. This report enables the approval of multiple time sheets at once, and it’s highly recommended to use it in a workflow automation with KPIs and condition filters. Say goodbye to the tedious task of approving time sheets one by one!

Workflow automation has also seen significant improvements. A new field and action have been added to make it easier to identify which step a function is linked to and vice versa. Additionally, the Expression Terms action has been added to the Workflow Automations card, intended exclusively for workflows.

Variables have been introduced in the Workflow Automations Guide and the Functions Guide, allowing users to select specific setups when adding functions and KPIs using templates. These variables enable users to change date filters within the guides, rather than after the function is created. This means more flexibility and customization to suit your needs.

In the environment settings, an “Enabled” field has been added to the Environments card, allowing users to select whether the environment should be enabled or not. It’s important to note that all enabled Eagle environments will be disabled if the Business Central environment is copied to a sandbox or if the company is copied. For single companies, the DrillDown of KPIs has been modified to prevent the page from opening in a new tab in the browser.

The settings for the My Companies page have been adjusted, so that only errors in Eagle can cause a row to turn red, excluding job queue errors. A new view, “Job Queue Errors,” has been added to the My Companies page to display companies with errors in the job queue. Lastly, an error that occurred when creating the first Workflow Automation manually or using templates has been fixed.
